Hooked On A Feeling

BEAUTIFUL & BREATHTAKING
We rented this property along with dear friends for 6 days/5 nights and could not have been more pleased with our decision to rent Hooked On A Feeling! We visit the Crystal Beach area twice a year (April and September), previously we’d always rented a different property for our stays however that property was sold and no longer on the rental market; hence leading us to book HOAF and our decision certainly did not disappoint! The owner’s of this beautiful beach home have thought of everything and the attention to detail on the interior of the home left nothing to be desired, not to mention the full on direct ocean views! This is a pet friendly home as well which is perfect for us as we always bring our fur babies! The only thing we could have desired regarding the exterior would have been a fenced “dog run/yard area” or a gate to block off the deck upstairs to confine our fur babies somewhat from when we opened the door to running downstairs before we could get down to walk them to do their business. All this being said, it did not deter us from renting Hooked On A Feeling again for our September 2022 stay! I would like to mention, when we first looked at this property to rent it did not have an exterior lift, however by the time we were set to arrive a lift had been installed and it was truly a welcomed surprise! The house was wonderful! As promised, the views were great! We spent a lot of time on the deck - loved the dining table! The best part of our experience was the check in/check out time! We are used to 4:00 PM check in and 10:00AM check out with so many tasks (the last rental required us to wash, dry, and put away all towels and dishes) that it’s hard to get them all done! With the check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 2:00 PM, we actually had time to enjoy a walk on the beach the prior to our departure. Kudos to Cobb Realty!

We have rented this property multiple times over the past 4 years and will continue to make it our first choice. The location and view are fantastic. Everything has been in near perfect condition during each of our visits. WE highly recommend this property.

The house was amazing and the ocean view was fabulous! The kitchen was large and had all the utensils and cookware! Beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend and plan to return.

Hooked on a Feeling is a very nice cabin with easy access to the beach. The beach view from deck was wonderful.
I had a very small issue called Cobb's and maintenance man was there in no time. Second time renting from Cobb's real estate and will continue to use them in the future.

We had a great experience at the beach house in Bolivar. The view was fabulous. There was a big kitchen, lots of seating in the living room and a large dining table, plus extra chairs at the island. There was even a cargo lift; much needed! The only issue was the top bunk beds were unusable. They were too close to the ceiling and the mattresses were higher than the safety railing. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable.

I found the property to be perfect. Checking in with Cobb was easy and the employee answered all my questions. Upon arrival at Hooked, I found it spotless and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet and it was a short walk to the beach. The view from Hooked was great as well. I’ve rented many homes at Boliver, and this one is at the top of the list for value, location and quality.

Where to begin, this home was everything the listing claimed it to be. Our stay in this home was so relaxing and peaceful. The views are great and you have no obstructions of the gulf. The home was clean and well stocked. The only thing that would make this home any better for me and my family is if it were fenced in. I am not a fan of walking down the stairs at 5am to let my pup out to potty. This will not keep me from coming back though. Everyone at Cobb is so helpful and friendly. Thank you Cobb Realty, for the vacation I have waited 12 years for!!!

My Son, his wife and 2 yr old grandbaby Charlotte flew in from California... my other son from Austin drove down.. We had a wonderful stay! We will definetley re-visit this rental. The house was clean, roomy, it had everything needed in the kitchen. Also, very close to the beach.. the view was AMAZING ! Highly recommend this cabin !

Hooked on a Feeling was the perfect choice for my family's beach vacation. There was plenty of space for all six of us to sit at the table and hang out in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all of our meals while we were there. The house was very clean and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The outdoor deck was also lovely and had a large table with chairs as well as other chairs to sit on and enjoy the view. Loved that it was covered and also gave a shaded place to sit. Had to buy a gate to put at the top of the stairs on the deck so my dogs couldn't escape when we were out there, but that was the only thing we had to change. The walk to the beach was just a couple of minutes. Very nice, quiet neighborhood as well. We had an amazing stay here and would definitely come back to Hooked on a Feeling again.

The house was well decorated, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 5. We had 4 more that came over for dinner one night. It was great for playing games, eating together, and sitting on the deck or enjoying the swings. I cooked almost every meal and had everything I needed except a blender, which I was able to buy locally for a reasonable price.
I think it could comfortably sleep up to 8 people +3 more small children. The bunk beds are extremely close to the ceiling so I don't think larger children would fit comfortably up there. The house is in a great location and the house was one of the cleanest places I've rented in Crytal Beach. I did wash any dish/pan I used because I noticed some were not well cleaned. Probably previous renters put them up without checking to make sure the dishwasher had gotten them clean. Several had a greasy film on them. I also noticed bedspreads and throw rugs might not have been as clean as I would have liked. Most places we have rented had a roll of toilet paper and paper towels to get us started, but this house had none at all, so come prepared. Overall though, we had a great week at Hooked on a Feeling and my family would definitely rent again.

My husband and I visit Bolivar every April and September for weekly stays, Hooked On A Feeling has become our new “go to” for our vacay rental. This was our second time renting this property and we will continue to rent this amazing beach house each time!
The owner’s of this property have thought of everything to make sure all guests thoroughly enjoy their stay! The house is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and has full on direct ocean views considering its third row location. After we rented this property in April 2022, in my review I mentioned/suggested one of the only things I could think of that would be beneficial to future renters would be some type of a fenced area for fur babies since this property is pet friendly. To our surprise, when we arrived in September there is now a fenced dog area; thanks so much Hooked On A Feeling owners! ��
I would also like to give kudos to Cobb Real Estate for the ease of always expertly handing our reservations! We’re already looking forward to our next stay! ��
